As many of you know, there is an event in Pamplona, Spain each year called the Running of the Bulls. It is actually a festival to San Fermin, and runs for a whole week - so they actually run with the bulls every day from July 6-14. They show it on TV each morning at 8. We've become quite into watching it - to prove the point: Jason just woke Katie up and her 1st question was "Is the running of the bulls over?" :-)
Anyway, these people who do this are CRAZY. No two ways about it. Crazy and foolish. Since the commentary is all in Spanish, we don't understand the specifics of who got hurt and how... but the video speaks for itself!
Here's a mediocre recording from the station we've been watching - I think this was the 3rd "encierro" last Wed. Enjoy your taste of Spain :-)

There is alot of press coverage here this year (either that or I listen better to any news regarding Spain now) about the Running of the Bulls, mostly it seems to be a count of who/how many were gored or injured in this tradition. Glad its not something on your list of 'things to do while in Spain'!
We love ya!

I imagine that Katie-the Cowgirl, would love to see the running of the bulls in person. She is so funny!
Have fun!
