We are in the process of furiously studying for the Spanish driver's license test. We knew we had to get one, but weren't too concerned and weren't thinking we needed to worry about it until we get back from Texas. But recently we've been hearing that it is quite serious if you get stopped without having one after you've lived in the country more than 6 months. For us, that will be Aug 17, the day we get back from Texas. So last week we started scrambling to get this thing scheduled and studied for so that we can take it before we leave.
One caveat - very few people that we know have passed this test - for some reason they make it extremely difficult. It is even difficult for Spanish speakers, but especially for not-so-great Spanish speakers like ourselves. YIKES!!
So, we would really appreciate your prayers tomorrow!! We really want to comply w/ the law here and really want to get this taken care of now.
Much love,
Becca
