Updates

1. OK - so I just heard: our driving tests are at 9:45 in the morning! (Wed) We're so ready to get this over with!! We have heard from so many people that it mostly depends on who you get as your examiner - so we are praying for a good examiner that shows us favor! I keep trying to tell myself that there are worse things in the world than not passing the 1st time... but it sure would be nice to get it all done and behind us. Thank you for praying with us!

2. We have still been meeting with the small group in our home every other week. It has been a very small group, but it has been so good. We've really enjoyed watching some good Rob Bell videos and have had some great discussions. It seems the primary issue with people coming has been transportation, as many people come on public transportation and it can often take a really long time to get here. Probably what we need to do is advertise more in our area in the fall so we get more people involved who live nearby. We've also had several people express an interest in doing a Crown study, so we may end up switching to that instead. We'll see what happens :-).

3. Jason has gotten a ton of books for the church library and we think we'll be able to open it up on Sunday! So that's been exciting. Here is a pic of the pretty cabinets that we have to hold the books in. There's been a lot of buzz about the library around church since Jason announced it last week! This is one of Katie's friends, Abigail (and these 2 are much more excited about the library than their expressions show :-) )
