Well... we had a great day today... but sadly forgot our cameras! The horror!!
Toby and I spent the morning having coffee with a new missionary to Mexico. The three of us had a great and very encouraging conversation. This particular family is a really neat example of "regular" church leaders who get more and more involved in missions and church work that it's a very natural (almost easy) transition to 'retire' from secular work and to spend all their time in ministry. I really enjoyed meeting Brent and hearing about what God's doing in their lives. Exciting stuff and a great family in all respects...
In the afternoon, while Marilyn felt under the weather so she and Toby stayed home, we took the girls across town to an AWESOME indoor amusement park. They had a rock wall, a bungie trampoline, a mechanical bull, a zip line, lots of mazes and tunnels to explore, etc. etc. We were hugely bummed that we forgot our cameras!! The girls had a GREAT time, to put it lightly. After we left, we stopped for ice cream at the "blue bell" of this area. It was a reward for the girls going quietly and peacefully to bed the night before. We endulged in a sugary snack with them and celebrated the small miracle that I successfully drove us back to familiar territory near the Casteel's home. I don't know this city too well and we made a pretty significant detour on our way back. ;-)
Tonight we had Mexican tostada's here at the house and we put all 3 girlies in the shower to get them clean and ready for bed. They are now happily snoozing through the tail end of a big thunderstorm. The thunder is very loud in CV. That sounds crazy... but it's true. I'm not sure why but thunderstorms here are unbelievably loud.

One more thing... we are doing a poor job of recording the funny quotes that the girls give us throughout the day. However, at dinner Lily said to me, "Uncle Jason, I don't understand your jokes. That is actually a question." Ha! We roared with laughter. Soon she'll realize that it's not just the children that don't get my jokes...

P.S. At the park, there were friends of the Casteel's who took several pics of the girls for us. We hope to be able to post them soon. We'll see!

That is hilarious that LIly said that. You can always count on kids to tell you the truth - no polite laughter from them!
